From a vision to Pune's trusted lab
In September 2014, Dr. Prachi Bhagwat opened the doors of HealthAura Pathology Laboratory on Baner Road, Pune. After earning her MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai and MD in Pathology from BJ Medical College, Pune, and after gaining invaluable clinical experience at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Mai Mangeshkar Hospital, she saw a gap that needed filling.
Quality pathology services were either expensive or impersonal. Dr. Bhagwat envisioned a lab where every report would be as accurate as a top hospital's, every patient would get their results explained by a qualified pathologist, and every family could afford it.
Over the past decade, HealthAura has grown from a single lab in Baner to two locations serving thousands of patients. Today, with a team of expert technicians and the latest automated analysers, we continue to deliver on that founding promise — accurate diagnostics, affordable pricing, and personal care.

Dr. Prachi Bhagwat is the founder and chief pathologist at HealthAura Pathology Laboratory. With over 16 years of clinical experience, she leads a team dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and affordable diagnostic services to the people of Pune.
She completed her MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai — one of India's most prestigious medical institutions — followed by her MD in Pathology from BJ Medical College, Pune. Her early career included stints at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Mai Mangeshkar Hospital, where she honed her expertise in clinical pathology.
In September 2014, driven by a vision to make quality diagnostics accessible to the common man, she founded HealthAura Pathology Laboratory in Baner, Pune. Today, the lab serves thousands of patients across two locations with a reputation for precision, personal care, and affordability.
